Services Provided

Hayes Day School offers a therapeutic intervention program with the goal of building on student strengths while acknowledging their individual needs. We offer a collaborative teamwork approach to build an individualized therapeutic curriculum. 

 

We deliver special education with compassionate care.

 

Our team is comprised of licensed and certified professionals. 

 

Interdisciplinary team members include:

 

  • Special Education Teachers

  • Speech Pathologists

  • Physical Therapists 

  • Occupational Therapist and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA's) 

  • Creative Arts Therapist    

  • Teacher of the Visually Impaired 

  • Adaptive Physical Education Teacher 

  • Full time Nursing Team (RN and LPN)

  • Yoga

  • Weekly therapy dog sessions

  • Wheelchair and brace clinics with vendors on a monthly basis 

    • Vision Services - Teacher of The Visually Impaired

    Occupational Therapy in this school setting has the opportunity to help children become more functional in their environments.

    Our students move during the day with the necessary supports to be successful in increasing their ability to function within the classroom and achieving independence navigating the school environment.
